NIC Hyderabad Graduates 30 Startups from Cohorts 6 & 7 as It Marks Four Years of Building Founders
Hyderabad, August 20, 2026 — NIC Hyderabad celebrated the graduation of 30 startups from Cohorts 6 & 7, marking another milestone in its four-year journey of supporting founders, growing businesses, and building an entrepreneurial community that continues to expand beyond its walls.
The graduation, themed “Ideas Take Flight,” transformed the milestone into an airport-inspired journey, with graduates receiving their certificates in the form of passports and boarding tickets, reflecting the idea that graduation is not a final destination but the beginning of a new chapter. In her address, Sana Shah, Project Director, NIC Hyderabad, reminded graduates that they will always remain part of the NIC ecosystem, while encouraging them to embrace their new role as supporters and mentors for the entrepreneurs who follow.
With Farhan Iqbal and Prof. Dr. Arifa Bhutto joining as Guests of Honour, the celebration brought together founders, mentors, partners, and members of the wider startup ecosystem. The day was filled with conversations, reflections, reconnecting with old friends, and building new relationships, as 30 graduating startups took their next step and NIC Hyderabad marked four years of creating a community that continues to grow, evolve, and take new ideas further.
