Problem Solving Workshop
Are you thinking of becoming an entrepreneur but have no ideas?
Opportunities are in problems that we face. Join the hands-on program to develop the skill of turning problems into opportunities.
National Incubation Center Hyderabad and IdeaGist are conducting a unique workshop starting on September 22, 2022, 4:00-6:00 PM at the NIC Building in Sindh University Old Campus.
Purpose of this workshop is to help young innovators in identifying problems and their solutions in a systematic way. Course will be offered to students, developing an interest in solving problems and becoming an entrepreneur. Students attending these sessions will be tracked for their progress and will be invited in the follow-up activities.
This is a series of three workshops, progressing from problems to opportunities:
Session 1 – Sep 22, How to find problems and write a problem statement. In this session, participants will first be encouraged to share some problems that they faced yesterday. Then the trainer will use these examples to define crisp problem statements. After that, all participants will be asked to write one or two problems that they would like to work on. At the end of the session, all participants will share their problem statements and sign up in groups of three to work on the problems that they like.
Session 2 – September 23, Coming up with solutions. In this session, already defined teams will focus on three problems and will come up with three potential solutions, later-on evaluating best ideas and presenting their ideas to the group.
Session 3 – Sep 26, Picking the best solutions. Ideas generated in the previous session will be discussed and pick the best solutions to the problems identified in the first session.
Students come up with ideas to solve everyday problems and learn how to present a problem statement. In addition to the learning outcome, a repository of ideas and innovators and awareness about the program will also be created.
