Takorie Impex (SMC-Pvt) Ltd. is going to launch a multivendor e-commerce website (Takorie.com), created specifically for Pakistani female artisans.

Takorie is working on a project entitled “Peace Building through Women’s Economic Empowerment via Digital Means.” The project’s goal is to promote social peace by involving Pakistani women in economic activities.

It is well observed that women, lacking economic independence, are more prone to being instruments of violence and extremism. Hence, Takorie decided to reach out to the women to involve them in activities that can lead to their financial freedom.
Takorie’s core values are to promote peace, culture, and the handicrafts industry, and we are launching a multivendor e-commerce website to encourage an entrepreneurial spirit in the craftswomen of Pakistan. Financial freedom and women’s economic empowerment are our means to contribute to the economy and peacebuilding efforts in Pakistan.
