IdeaGist, NIC’s Curriculum Partner, hosted a welcome dinner for National Incubation Centre, Hyderabad on 21st May. The dinner was attended by Federal Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Amin-ul-Haque, CEO Ignite Asim Shahryar Hussain, CEO LMKT Atif Rais Khan and other notable officials from MOITT, PTCL, Ignite and local stakeholders.

In his address, Syed Amin-ul-Haque emphasized the importance of an innovative platform for the youth of Hyderabad and its surrounding rural & urban areas to develop entrepreneurial potentials in them. NIC Hyderabad is expected to improve the effectiveness of variety of industries including agriculture, livestock, ornamental industrial products, textile, sugar, cement, and many other sectors.

NIC Hyderabad is the 3rd venture of LMKT as it is the operating partner for NIC Peshawar and Karachi.

NIC Hyderabad is the second incubation center for the province of Sindh after Karachi. A joint site visit was conducted by Ignite, LMKT and PTCL teams to review the work progress for NIC Hyderabad. The NIC is expected to become operational by the end of June at the Elsa Kazi Campus in University of Sindh, Hyderabad.
