Hyderabad, February 13, 2026 — Organized by Saylani Mass I.T. Training and supported by the Government of Pakistan and the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication, NIC Hyderabad hosted a dynamic lineup of discussions, panels, and showcases as part of Indus AI Week 2026, highlighting Pakistan’s growing AI ecosystem.
The event opened with Mr. Zarrar Hasham Khan, Secretary IT & Telecommunication, outlining the opportunities AI presents and the critical role of Pakistan’s youth in leading this shift. Project Director Sana Shah set the stage with opening remarks that emphasized purpose and momentum.
Throughout the day, experts debated key topics including the impact of AI on engineering roles, cybersecurity challenges, and practical pathways for entering AI in 2026. Sessions also addressed AI in finance, startups, and large language models.
Alongside the main stage, initiatives such as FemHack encouraged women to join the AI sector, an AI Job Fair connected talent with opportunities, and an AI Startup Showcase demonstrated local innovation in AI technologies.
Indus AI Week 2026 offered participants access, insights, and hands-on engagement with AI, underscoring that the country’s AI future is already underway.
