The Federal Minister for the Ministry Of IT & Telecom addressed the opening ceremony of Pakistan-ITU Digital Inclusion Week 2022. The two-day event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of mainstreaming digital inclusion in Pakistan and addressing the digital divide, especially among women, children, and people with disabilities.
On this occasion, our cohort’s startup, Baithak – Challenging Taboos, received an honorary shield for their work on a social enterprise that promotes women’s access to reproductive health and rights. ‘Gul,’ Baithak’s essential product, is an AI-powered voice chatbot that educates men and women in local languages about reproductive rights and services.
